Typoon twin is a chemical fume hood with total expulsion of the intake air, a modern collective protection device with a strong eco-friendly imprinting, with technological features that make this product an exclusive one.

Our fumes hoods models are made with high quality materials that guarantee high strength and chemical resistance. The total absence of porous materials like wood fiber o the excessive  use of painted sheet that can be easily contaminated in the areas with a long contact with corrosive deposits, are guarantees of safety and longevity.

Typhoon Twin setted a new standard in the fume hoods’ world; no compromises between the security of the user and the environment. Not only a strong respect for the EN 14175 laws  but containment levels  that have become a reference for the users.



TYPHOON TWIN IS THE only chemical hood with a dual operating technology that allows the user to choose in a clever way what type of air intake to use according to the use.

Variable capacity, in this mode the hood changes automatically the capacity depending on the stash position, keeping the same frontal flow speed set by the operator.

With the lowered stash air consumption is reduced.

Fixed capacity, in this mode the auxiliary system ECONOMY DRIVE, produces an additional flow that reduces the capacity of the extracted air allowing a consistent energetic saving.

Thanks to the HIC controller integrated software, both the systems can integrate each other in a clear way to the user getting a perfect balance between performance, safety and energy saving.

All Typhoon Twin fume hoods are characterized by unique peculiarities and standard dotations , like the Labosafe aspirated safety box under the worktop and the emergency eye washer integrated in the side upright.

The economy drive system, activated in every moment by the operator, consists in an auxiliary system that generates an additional air flow concentrated among the perimeter of the hood frontal barrier, provided through dispensers. This support flow is really effective because is located in the most critical areas of access to the hood where the worst turbulences are created.

Its presence permits to stabilize the incoming air, increase the efficacy in the reduction of harmful substances that exit from the internal hole due the turbulence while reducing the capacity of the main extraction and get an energetic saving.

A led light system have been added because this technology offers an ideal and not fatiguing for the sight light spectrum and because these systems permit and high energetic save.

The utilities controllers (gas, air, cooling system and water) are put on lateral uprights in order to give the best comfort of the operator who has not to move back from the work station to reach them or to stoop in order to activate the utilities. We created a deeper worktop compared to the standard that permits to work better despites the presence of many tools that occupy a lot of space. The internal tray has been put in the side on a specially designed monolithic stoneware support.

In the development of the control system, a special attention was paid to simplicity of use and clearness of the visualized information. This helps in a decisive way the safety of the operator who, through the visual information, is updated on the use of the fume hood reducing the time of the training because all the information are visualized as a text and not through icons or indication lights.

All Typhoon Twin functions are managed by a controller that shows in real time the information in a clear and readable way thanks to the led screen.

The system has also a calendar for the programmed maintenance, a “info” button with clear instruction for all the screens an “emergency” button for the control of the accidents and the possibility of limit the excess through a password for a total security use.

IThe controller makes possible to manage the extraction and the maintenance of the Labosafe safety box installed under work top.
